The Yukon Nominee Program (YNP) is one of the territory's main immigration pathway that allows employers to hire temporary foreign workers from both inside and outside Canada. While the program has been on pause since 2024, employers are currently able to submit an Expression of Interest if they are interested in applying for the program in 2025.
The deadline for the Expression of Interest intake is 4:30 pm on April 22, 2025.
Employers selected from the Expression of Interest pool will be invited to apply for the Yukon Nominee Program this year. It is important to note that candidates will not be chosen on a first come, first serve basis. Rather, priority will be given to foreign workers who meet certain criteria, such as:
graduating from Yukon University;
living and working in the Yukon for at least one year;
proficiency in French; and
receiving a Temporary Measure Letter of Support.
If you are a foreign worker who meets any of these criteria, or an employer looking to hire a foreign worker under the Yukon Nominee Program, AB Law can help. As the only immigration law firm in Yukon, we provide expert legal services to guide you through the immigration process. Visit our website to schedule a consultation today.
